Dr. Charis Lauren Wahman is an assistant professor of special education at Michigan State University, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst at the doctoral level (BCBA-D), and affiliated faculty in both School Psychology and the Pyramid Model Consortium. With over 20 years of experience as a teacher, consultant, and behavioral interventionist, she has dedicated her career to supporting children, families, and professionals in the early childhood field.
In her keynote, Dr. Wahman will delve into the history of reflective functioning and reflective practice, examine its importance for infant–toddler educators, and share practical strategies for strengthening reflective capacity. Attendees will learn how to apply these insights within a tiered framework to deepen connections with young children and their families.

The 2025 Infant Toddler Conference will take place in person on November 7, 2025. A block of rooms are available at the conference location at a discounted rate of $98/night.
