Michigan AEYC Professional Development Event Policies

Discounts for Michigan AEYC Members

Member discounts, when offered, are only for current Michigan AEYC members at the standard or premium membership level. Membership status will be checked with NAEYC. Nonmember fees will be charged for nonmembers and members whose memberships have expired, or who are members at the entry or family level, even if member rates are entered.

Refunds

Refund requests must be received in writing. Refunds are granted for cancellations received by the event’s published initial registration deadline date. A $15.00 processing fee is deducted from each refund.

Registration Transfer

A registration can be transferred to another person upon request. If the transfer is from a member to a nonmember, the difference between the member and nonmember fee is charged.

Special Requests

Michigan AEYC honors reasonable requests for aids, assistance and/or services. Requests must be submitted in writing by the event’s published initial registration deadline date.

Photographs

Attendees may be photographed at Michigan AEYC professional development events and/or Michigan AEYC endorsed/sponsored events. Michigan AEYC may use photos, videos and/or film likenesses for Michigan AEYC promotional purposes including posting on the Michigan AEYC website, www.miaeyc.org, and/or Michigan AEYC social media sites.
